Hello Nghia,

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Domains.

I am glad to receive your email and welcome the opportunity to assist
you.

From your email, I understand that you have following issues:

- You want to change Yahoo! Id of your current account.

- You want to know how to transfer your domain from other registrar to
Yahoo!.

- You want to know how to transfer your domain from Yahoo! to another
registrar.

ISSUE 1:
=========

Nghia, It means that you would like to keep your domain registrar same
or
just like to change the Yahoo! ID associated with domain name.

Currently, we do not have a feature that would allow you to associate
your account to another Yahoo! ID directly.

For this you have to release your domain name from Yahoo! Reseller list
and manage it with Melbourne IT. Then you can re-delegate the domain
name to Yahoo! again with different Yahoo! ID.

For information on how to re-delegate your name servers to Yahoo!
Domains, please view:

http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/bzinf...delegation.php

Yahoo!'s domain registration partner, Melbourne IT, is the registrar
for
all new domains registered through Yahoo!.Therefore, Melbourne IT will
be responsible for maintaining your domain registration records,
managing your domain renewals, and other administrative details after
the domain is released from the Yahoo! Reseller list.

If you are comfortable to follow the above procedure, you need to do
the
following:

You have to cancel your Yahoo! Small Business Services account, you can
then request that we release the domain name from our reseller account
with the domains registrar. Once released, you can then re-register the
account with Yahoo! after 48 hours under a new Yahoo! ID:

Please make sure to do the following prior to cancelling your Yahoo!
Small Business Service:

Please make sure to back up any web sites or email associated with your
current Yahoo! Small Business Services Account, as this data will be
lost when you cancel.

If you wish to proceed with the transfer process, please reply to this
email after you have cancelled your Small Business Services Account.

In order to complete the transfer process after releasing your domain
name:

- Log into Yahoo! using the Yahoo! ID you wish to have associated with
the domain name.

- Go to http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/products

- Select an appropriate Yahoo! Small Business Services plan for your
domain.

- Click "Sign Up"

- Click on the link "Use it with a Yahoo! plan"

- Follow the appropriate steps to create a new Yahoo! Small Business
Services Account

This will associate the domain name and related Yahoo! Small Business
Services Account to your new Yahoo! ID.

ISSUE 2:
=========

Nghia, at this time Yahoo! Domains does not offer the ability to accept
a
registration transfer of your domain name. You can however choose to
host your domain at Yahoo! by re-delegating your name servers.

For information on how to re-delegate your name servers to Yahoo!
Domains, please view:

http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/bzinf...delegation.php

ISSUE 3:
=========

Nghia, if you'd like to transfer your domain away from Yahoo!, we
strongly recommend transferring your domain before you cancel.

1.Make sure your domain is unlocked.
=====================================

For your security, locked domains cannot be transferred. If your domain
is locked, visit your Domain Control Panel and click the "Edit Domain
Locking" link.

2.Check your administrative contact email address.
===================================================

Your new provider will send an email to your domain administrative
contact to confirm your domain transfer. If you can't receive the
confirmation, you won't be able to complete the transfer!

3.Get your authorization code.
==============================

To find your authorization code, head to your Domain Control Panel, and
click the "View Your Authorization Code" link. On the following page,
you'll see your unique domain authorization code. Print this code, as
you'll need it to give to your new provider.

If you decide to transfer your domain away from Yahoo!, and your domain
ends in .com .net .biz, .info, .org, or .us, you'll need your
authorization code.

To find this code do the following:

1) Sign in to your Business Control Panel (you'll be prompted to enter
your Yahoo! ID and password if you haven't already done so).

2) Click the Domain Control Panel link under your domain name.

3) On your Domain Control Panel, click View Your Authorization Code.

4) On the View Your Authorization Code page, you'll see your domain's
unique authorization code. We recommend printing this code for your
records, as you'll need it if you decide to transfer.

Make sure that you wait on canceling your account until you are sure
that the transfer's successful. You can check the status with the new
provider, and Yahoo! will also send an email when the transfer goes
through.

Please Note: According to ICANN policy, a domain cannot be transferred
within 60 days of registration. This is standard practice for all
registrars. If you would like to review the policy, please view the
following URL:

http://www.icann.org/tlds/agreements...1.htm#ExhibitB

4.Contact your new provider.
==============================

When you're ready, contact your new provider to begin the transfer
process. Be sure to have your authorization code handy, as your new
provider will need it to verify the move.

5.Cancel your plan.
====================

Once your transfer is complete, we'll send you an email confirming the
transfer (you can also check this status with your new provider). When
you receive this confirmation, you may cancel your plan. Note that
Yahoo! does not automatically cancel your service when you transfer
your
domain.

To cancel your Yahoo! Domains account please log into Yahoo! Small
Business at http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/ and follow these steps:

1. Log into your account with your Yahoo! ID and Password.

2. Click the "My Services" tab.

3. Select Change Plan by clicking on the "change plan" link.

4. On the top-left, click the "Cancel Service" link.

5. You will need to read the disclosure and click the link "cancel my
service".

6. You will need to confirm your decision by clicking on the link
"confirm cancellation".

When the cancellation is complete you will receive a cancellation
complete message.

If your domain was registered through Yahoo!:

- Cancelling this service will end your ability to manage this domain
through your Domain Control Panel.

- You may not transfer registrars until 60 days after first registering
your domain, in accordance with ICANN rules.

- To transfer your domain to another domain registrar, ask your new
registrar to initiate the process. Although your provider may ask for
your registry key, it is not required to complete a transfer.

- If you do not transfer, you will be contacted by Melbourne IT (MIT),
our domain partner when your domain is due for renewal.

Prior to cancelling your Domains service, you may want to save a copy
of
your starter web page. It will no longer be accessible once you cancel.

Once you cancel your Yahoo! Domains account, your domain name will
remain registered to you.

I hope that above email will answer your all questions upto your
expectation.

I value you as a customer and look forward to serve you for years to
come and hope that you are enjoying our services as much as Yahoo!
enjoys bringing them to you.

Please do not hesitate to reply if you need further assistance.

Have a great day!

Regards,

Farrah
